RELEASE: Don Bolduc denounces firing of Space Force Commander for anti-Critical Race Theory Comments

Manchester, NH – Over the weekend, the 11th Space Warning Squadron Commander, Lt Col Matthew Lohmeier, was relieved of his command for comments he made during a podcast. During the podcast Lohmeier said that critical race theory (CRT), which has recently found its way into American schools, is now being taught openly in the military. The former Space Force Commander said that CRT is an extension of Marxism.

“I’ve written and spoken publicly about the harm and divisiveness Critical Race Theory creates for Americans for a while now. Critical Race Theory teaches Americans to hate one another for no other reason than the color of their skin. It is incredibly dangerous and represents a step backwards,” said Don Bolduc, candidate for U.S. Senate.

First it was our children in schools being taught this, and now its crept into our military. A Space Force Commander who simply said what everybody was thinking was relieved of command. I’ve been a commander; I can empathize with Lt COL Lohmeier. I spoke out about the effects of Post Traumatic Stress and a need for my Soldiers to get mental health help. That was not popular with my superiors. Like Lt Col Lohmeier, I know I was speaking the truth and it was the right thing to do.”
